The Power of Prayer

         Be still and know that Iam God!    (Ps 46:10)

The Eucharistic vigil is the tryst of the bride with the Bridegroom. It is Mary seated at the feet of the Master in adoring love - It is Mary the Mother saying: "Son, they have no wine." She presents the world and begs for it the wine of hope and peace.

While the noisy world hurries by, the poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration are gently praying for the world 

The nuns take one-hour vigils by day and two-hour vigils by night, changing guard by the clock. Seven times a day the nuns assemble before the Eucharistic Presence to unite with all the choirs of heaven and earth in offering to God their Praise, Thanksgiving, Supplication and Atonement. In the Liturgy of the Hours the nuns join the ranks of men and women who by their active apostolate serve the needs of humanity in the name of Jesus.

Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament is the heart of our community and of our lives as adorers.

Drawn by love of the Most Holy Sacrament of Christ's Body and Blood,
