     Is it possible that God may be calling you to a life of thansgiving and prayer before the Lord as a Poor Clare Sister of Perpetual Adoration?  Inquiries into our way of life are welcome and will receive a prompt response from our Vocation Directress.  We hope that you too might find at St. Paul's a place of peace and refreshment and be able to join us for Liturgy and a time of adoration here at the Shrine.  May the blessing our our Holy Mother Saint Clare be upon you!

May Almighty God bless you,

May He look upon you with the eyes of mercy

And give you peace

May He pour forth His graces upon you abundantly

And in heaven may he place you among His saints.

Our general requirements are as follows, but we welcome all serious inquiries and consider each one on an individual basis.

Young women between the ages of 20 to 35.

Basic good health

High School education, at least. College education is welcome

The ability to live in community and to work with others

A love of prayer

A desire to serve God by serving people through intercessory prayer

Sr. Mary Joseph and the Novices

 

     Life in the monastery begins with the novitiate.  During this stage of formation, the novices experience more fully our manner of living and are formed in the spirit of the Order.  They deepen their fidelity to Christ through the practice of obedience, poverty, and chastity, all of which they intend to profess.
